Meeting at our base, choice of the equipments, team organisation, technical briefing and navigation.
How old do you have to be to practice whitewater sports?
From the age of 7, as soon as children can swim .
Can the whole family plan a run together ?
The Discovery Rafting formula is meant for a family.
What do we need to bring when we come for the activity ?
We provide you with all the equipment you may need, even the special water boots. Just bring your bathing suit and towel.
Where do the various runs take place?
The different formulas take place on the Guisane River, between the village of Le Casset and Briançon.
We can also organise other runs on other rivers such as the Guil river, the Durance river, the Ubaye river, and so on ...
Do we have to be able to swim?
Obviously, yes, according to common sense and mostly according to the law. You must be able to swim a length of 25 meters at least, and to put your head underwater before practicing whitewater sports.
What level should you have in order to participate in these activities ?
All activities are open to beginners. The sport formulas are intended to the more dynamic individuals.
Do we need to be picked up with our own car at the end of the run?
No, you don’t. We take care of all transportation required during the activities, from the base and back.
Are your activities available to handicapped people ?
Yes, they are. We can adjust the equipment, the team instructors and the runs according to requirements.
